Good morning. Friday, wow time sure flies when you’re retired, or I mean, I didn’t even know WHAT DAY IT WAS! Honestly I looked at my calendar this morning and realized it was April 18th. I did know yesterday was Thursday, but the days are swimming together. Last night was the life drawing group and it was a packed house with familiar faces and some new ones, young ones. This group puts me into another realm of our very large art community in Tulsa. It’s exhilarating! We also had a new model last night, plus it was her first time to model. She was awesome and I loved her long wavy hair to draw. Usually the ladies have their long hair put up, and I can understand why. The long hair distracts and covers the body. It’s also so beautiful you want to capture it forgetting the body. Last night this was my best of the poses. It’s almost frame-able which I might just do. I have to admit I was glad to do well as that text from a fellow artist critiquing my sketch has been rolling around in my head causing doubt in my ability. Last night brought my confidence. #sketching #time
