I’ve been wondering if a prairie/pioneer immersive experience exists where a group can go with a guide in a covered wagon out into the tallgrass prairie somewhere and make camp just like they did back in the pioneer days. I’m looking for an authentic “Hey, can you fetch me some water from the creek” type of authentic experience. That would be a getaway I’d definitely sign up for. I’ve been Googling but haven’t really found quite what I’ve described. Dude ranches don’t seem to be the right fit unless I’m missing something in the descriptions. Does anyone know if something similar to what I’ve described exists?
