Yes it was a wonderful birthday celebration for our youngest yesterday. I did all vegan stuff, except for our burgers. All the sides, cheese, Impossible burgers. It was a hit. The kids love coming over, all new toys and a huge house to run around in. We also gathered to watch our home state basketball team, the Thunder take the NBA championship. One of the son-in-laws had to go home to watch without an audience, he was so anxious. 😂. We’re not a “sports” family but it was kind of exciting. The weekend was fun with a girl get-together Saturday afternoon. Lots of prosecco and visiting with all of our feet in a kiddie pool. The creek is in flood stages and we found out that morning that e-coli had been detected because of the high waters. The 4th of July celebrations will be hampered this year. We did have a couple of different visitors to the camp. First this @&):(&”xxfh&$ jerk with his fancy-ass airboat. They are extremely loud and when the waters flood they are able to past our rock barriers. THIS guy thought he was hot stuff arrow-fishing in our MEADOW! He had two more buddies join him. Did I say the boats are loud, yup, and with three. Plus IF they had stepped off in the water they would be trespassing. One of our members was asking questions letting them know but they were horribly rude and nasty. They also come in late late at night and disturb the beautiful silence with their blankety-blank boats. There were canoes and kayaks of people that are not members but we did see some out of their boats AROUND the outdoor bathroom that is flooded AND has a septic system that is flooded, hence the reason for e-coli warnings.😡😡😡 Calming down, hubby had a little visitor settle on his truck bed. It’s a prothantory warbler. Looks like he has a bad eye.poor guy.
